How do I search for topics?
Answer: Use the Search field in the top right side of your screen.
Enter a topic or term of interest to you (e.g. IBD or 2009)
in the search field. Your search will then be sorted with all
relevant content on the e-portal being displayed. You may then
click on the material that you would like to view.
How do I update my profile?
Answer: Any content that has "Add to my profile" allows you
to add that media to your profile page. You can reach your profile
page at this link or via the “Profile” link in the menu bar
above.
Can I review my list of activities?
Answer: Yes. As above, while in the “Profile” section of the
site you may view a complete list of activities that you have
participated in as well as view your time on the site to apply
to your credit hours. This can also be reached by clicking the
"Session Time" link on your personal post-it-note on the main
webpage.
How do I obtain and record my credits?
Answer: As you browse and view content on the E-Portal, your
session time is saved and accumulated. You may then print and
attach this to the corresponding Section Credits form (Section
4, 5 and 6 forms can be found in the “Resources” section of
the e-portal). The session times and your records can be viewed
and printed at the Profile link above.
How can I get the most out of the e-portal site?
Answer: Users are encouraged to view the media “ MOCERT Essentials
for GI” by Dr. Connie Switzer, CAG Chair, Maintenance of Certification.
This video will answer your questions and assist you in understanding,
and getting the most from your e-portal experience.
Is my information anonymous?
Answer: Yes. Your information on the e-portal is anonymous.
The CAG is committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality,
security and privacy of personal information in its possession
(Privacy Policy). Session time data are collected so that the
user may record and apply the appropriate time and credits to
their Maintenance of Certification file. This information is
available/viewable only to the individual user.

Do I need specific software like Adobe or Flash player?
Answer: Most Modern Browsers have built in support for all of
the functionality of the E-Portal. However for optimal performance,
it is recommended that you use the latest browsers like Internet
Explorer 8, Firefox 3+ or any version of Safari. Adobe Reader
and Adobe Flash are also required. Please ensure that JavaScript
is also enabled

Answer: You can download a free copy of Adobe Reader at http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/.
You may download a free copy of Adobe Flash at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/.
How often is the site updated?
Answer: The site will be updated frequently. The endoscopy quiz,
forums, articles and blogs are dynamic and will change daily.
New courses/media will be added each month. So please check
for updates regularly.
